The Challenge

Building traceability into a shopping experience requires more than a backend database. Customers needed to experience the story of each product in a way that was compelling and digestible, not buried in a spreadsheet. The platform also had to map multiple supply chain nodes, from raw materials through manufacturing to fulfillment, and keep that data current as production runs changed.

The Solution

Revex built a custom e-commerce platform with a traceability layer woven directly into the product experience. Each product page surfaces the origin story of the garment, linking to the farms, mills, and factories involved in its production. A supply chain map visualizes the full journey, and the backend gives the Burke and Bowen team tools to update provenance data as new runs are created.
