● WHAT WE DID

OVERVIEW

Solar Radiation Management (SRM) is one of the most debated and least understood areas of climate science. Researchers, policymakers, and the public are all trying to get up to speed on an evolving body of knowledge that spans physics, policy, ethics, and ecology. SRM Primer was built to serve as the definitive, community-maintained resource for anyone trying to understand the field.

The Challenge

Building a wiki-style platform meant balancing open contribution with editorial quality. The content needed to be technical enough for researchers while remaining legible to informed non-specialists. The platform also needed version control, moderation tools, and a structure that could scale as the field evolved rapidly.

The Solution

Revex built SRM Primer as a structured wiki platform with layered editing permissions, revision history, and a moderation workflow. The information architecture was designed in close collaboration with the client to organize topics by mechanism, region, governance, and scientific consensus, giving visitors multiple entry points into a complex subject.
